I’m not quite feeling this outfit my girl Rihanna is wearing It’s true she would look good wearing a hefty bag, but the hefty bag would still just be a hefty bag. All I’m saying is that her dress reminds me of my homemade prom dress from 1997. I even remember the theme ” Make it last forever”. The problem with this look today, is that it’s not prom, nor is it 1997. Her hair on the other hand, which is Prince circa 1985, is the shit! She just needs to choose her era’s a little more carefully.

Our next president is vacationing in Hawaii…shirtless…and looking quite… NICE!. He is our next president, and I will remain respectful, and therefore will not say anything inappropriate about how NICE he looks. I however can not make any promisis for my thoughts.

I really don’t think there are words that can fully describe the pure happiness that I have been feeling since late last night, this is probably because I have never been overcome with such calm and joy. I am so honored that I was able to be apart of this monumental event, and I am ready to walk with Barack Obama every step of the day.

Police officers discovered the body of Julian King, the son of Julia Hudson and the nephew of Jennifer Hudson. Julian was found inside the stolen SUV of Jason Hudson after police received a tip from a neighbor. Jason is the brother of Jennifer Hudson, who was found shot to death along side her mother. Like his grandmother and uncle, Julian also died from a gun shot.

His step father, William Balfour remains in custody, however he has not been charged with the murders. Balfour is a person of interest, and a convicted felon.

I am just sick over this news, and can only imagine the pain this family must be experiencing. My heart goes out to the entire family, and I wish for nothing more, than for the person or persons responsible for these despicable crimes to be caught, convicted, and then some.

Amy Poehler took a few hours off from making us double over in laughter, to give birth. Amy and husband Will Arnett, welcomed a baby boy today who they named Archie…no comment. Well I guess having a baby is a good excuse not to show up to work. I’ll just have to get my laughs outside of SNL tonight. Perhaps I’ll search the internet for some quotes from the McCain-Palin campaign trail.

My heart is breaking at the news I just heard. Academy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Hudson and Jennifer’s brother, whose name has not been released were found shot to death in their home in Chicago Il. The bodies were discovered by a nearby relative. Police are searching for a 7 year old boy who is missing from the home, who is believed to be the son of Jennifer’s brother.

Positive thoughts and well wishes go out to Jennifer and her family, as the deal with this tragic event.

Little Suri Cruise was out on the town with Papa Cruise, and her big brother and sister.

…and was out for the count by the end of the evening. Meanwhile Mama Jolie was spotted with 50% of her clan.

The kids were rocking some interesting hairdos as usual.

Clay Aiken has done what I thought he’d never do, the season two American Idol alum has come clean about being a gay man. Raise your hand, if you had to pick your jaw up off the floor after seeing this cover (raising my hand). After years of being outed by the public, Clay has exited the closet via People magazine. He is featured on the cover with his baby boy.
Here is a sneak peek of the interview.

His reason for coming out:
“It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn’t raised that way, and I’m not going to raise a child to do that.” (I can totally respect that)

What his fans will think:
“Whether it be having a child out of wedlock, or whether it be simply being a homosexual(what is this 1982, who says homosexual these days) it’s going to be a lot. I’ve never intended to lie to anybody at all. … But if they leave, I don’t want them to leave hating me.”

Coming out to his mother:
“It was dark. I was sitting there, thinking to myself. I don’t know why I started thinking about it … I just started bawling. She made me pull over the car and it just came out. She started crying. She was obviously somewhat stunned.(Has she met you?) But she was very supportive and very comforting. She still struggles with things quite a bit, but she’s come a long way.”

On his sons sexuality:
“I have no idea if he’ll be gay or straight. It’s not something I’ll have anything to do with, or that he’ll have anything to do with. It’s already probably up inside the code there … No matter what the situation you’re in, if you’re raised in a loving environment, that’s the most important thing.”

Kudos to Clay for coming out on his own terms. I think he will find that the more honest you are about yourself; the less people will have to say about you. Of course there is always his music we can make fun of, which makes it a win win situation.
