Keyshia vs. Mary

Word on the street is that there is a beef brewing between Keyshia and Mary. Apparently Mary is not to impressed with the many comparisons between her and Keyshia (my favorite singer). Keyshia did state on a radio interview that she looked up to Mary and even told her she wanted to be just like her, only to be given the cold shoulder by Mary who told her you will never be like me. (damn). So being the woman that she is she just took it all in stride and choose to take it as a learning experience and not to set her sites on being like anyone other than herself. (good move) I’m actually hoping there is no beef, I mean Mary is Mary and no one can touch that , but Keyshia is doing her thing in a major way and can definitely hold more than her own. But I’m keeping my ear to the ground just in case we need to hand out some Team Mary vs. Team Keyshia T-shirts.
Also check out Ms. Cole on NBC, September 6th she will be singing the National Anthem at the NFL Opening Kick Off .

wow. where do i begin? well for starts, congrats to keisha’s big ass nfl preformance, she’s alone a good reason to tune in.
now on to this “beef”. i LOVE mjb but damn…how many cutting comments is she going to throw at the up and commers…she also accused alisha keys of all people of trying to bite her style-wtf mary-oh and lol…i guess mary’s just being true to her diva self cuz there’s no reason to fret about keisha yet she’s talking smack nevertheless. mary’s mary and keisha’s keisha and i don’t remember aretha franklin getting all mad when ppl compared mary to her so-oh i’m tired of explaining myself-shut the fuck up mary…damn a young ho can’t try fo shit w/out you hating!

I couldn’t have said it better myself…cept it’s been said Mary is Mary and no one can touch that…Vocal wise Keyshia touched that long time ago…I don’t think she’s trying to be like Mury but there’s nothing wrong with being influenced by someone…Mury’s just mad Keyshia will be singing the national anthem and she wont…she probably thought Keyshia would just be some small scale artist that would go away…Fat chance stank breath hussy (it’s rumored that her and Will Smith’s breath smell like garbage) ….If this beef is true you’re on my shyt list again MJB….and I would like a team keyshia T-shirt asap..

You know for someone who paced the stages of SNL higher than Cudah Brown with KC [back n da day] sho got alot of nerve trying to act— up’idy.
When someone like Keyshia says she hopes to be like Mary one day. I personally feel Keyshia is not wanting to mirror anything more than her refinement from “whats the 411″ to now! Oprah aint the only one who noticed–hence the invite to last years luncheon!
Mary need to fall back once and pump her brakes twice on this one and let her growth be admired and acknowledged. But too much Honey Blonde dye can do that sometimes…
