So this week we learned that Idaho Senator Larry Craig (Republican) was arrested last month for “Lewd conduct” in an Airport Bathroom. The story is that an undercover police officer observed Craig lingering in the bathroom for about 13 minuets, peeking into stalls. The Senator then entered the stall next to the officer. This is what the officer reported happened next “At 1216 hours, Craig tapped his right foot. I recognized this as a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct. Craig tapped his toes several times and moves his foot closer to my foot…. The presence of others did not seem to deter Craig as he moved his right foot so that it touched my left foot which was within my stall area. Craig then proceeded to swipe his hand under the stall divider several times.” Although the Senator pleaded guilty, he still maintains that he is innocent. He said that he pleaded guilty to simply make the matter go away. The Senator claims that his “wide stance” while peeing caused him to “accidentally” touch the officer’s foot (LOL), and he was reaching under the stall because he dropped the tissue (right). Since when do men wipe after they pee. The crazy thing or not so crazy thing is that this Senator voted against any and everything supporting gay rights. I have come to realize that the biggest haters, are usually the biggest supporters (on the down low).
