Mychal Bell of the Jena 6 is Free today

17 year-old Mychal Bell has been released on bail. His bail was set at $45,000 after spending 9 months in jail. It was just last Thursday that thousands of demonstrators went down to Jena, Louisiana to protest the charges against the 6 high school students. .
The LaSalle Parish District Attorney said his decision not to appeal was not influenced by the recent march. (Yeah right)
