Steroids in R&B and Hip Hop?

“Times Union” a local paper in Albany, NY is reporting alleged steroid use by major heavy weights in the Hip Hop and R&B community. Some of the names that have come up in the investigation are 50 Cent (so not shocked), Timbaland (so not shocked, he looks like mighty mouse), Wyclef Jean (surprised), Mary J Blige (totally surprised, but not shocked- she used to be a heavy drug user, so why not steroids,) and writer/producer Tyler Perry (now that’s just funny). I tell you, what people do to the inside of their bodies just to look good on the outside is beyond me. Don’t get me wrong I want to look just as fly as the next bitch, but there is only so far I’m going to go.
According to “Times Union” information has surfaced recently showing these stars are among tens of thousands of people who may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone in recent years. However, there is no proof that these stars violated any laws.
(So my thing is, if these drugs were not purchased illegally, why are they spilling the beans? If these people want to risk their health to look like Popeye that’s on them…. And I don’t think it’s right that Mary’s name is at the top of every headline just because she is a female, like it’s less acceptable for a female to use steroids than a man.
