New Cast of Dancing With the Stars

ABC has announced the new cast of Dancing With the Stars, and a lot of these people actually still have careers. Is Dancing With the Stars trying to turn over a new leaf, of actually casting present day stars, or will being on this show be the career kiss of death…doom doom doom? Check out a few of the stars who made the cut.

Marlee Matlin, an Academy Award winner, is currently one of the stars the hit Showtime series The L Word. As a deaf person, her presence will definitely draw more viewers to the show. I am a big fan of hers, and will definitely be tuning in to see her.
Adam Carolla star of The Adam Corolla Show, and former co-star and co-creator of The Man Show, and Crank Yankers. I still love him from MTV’s Loveline back in the day.

Penn Jillette, producer and co-host of the Showtime series Penn and Teller: Bullshit.
Mario, Grammy nominated R&B singer, who has one of my favorite songs out right now “Crying Out for You”

Now I happen to really like Mario, I think he is a good kid, consistent with his music ( I mean he is no Chris Brown…. but whateva) But I am not quite sure why he wants to jump into the Celebrity Graveyard better known as Dancing With the Stars. This is what he had to say about it;”This is definitely something new for me. It’s exciting. Every time I watch the show, I’m amazed how honest and real everyone is.”
