Is Wendy Williams in trouble?

March 25th, 2008 by Betty Scoop | Filed under Celebrity Gossip.

After hearing the allegations by former Talent Booker Nicole Spence, I think she might be. According to Spense she was constantly propositioned for sex by Wendy’s hubby/manager Kevin Hunter. (Vomit…have you seen him?) Spence said Hunter created a hostile work environment by constantly making sexual advances toward her, and by physically abusing Wendy Williams. I’d say that is more than a hostile work environment. Spense had this to say:

Mr. Hunter repeatedly sexually propositioned me at work in the
most crude and vulgar ways, telling me over and over that he wanted to ‘f- - -’ me. I also feared Mr. Hunter because he repeatedly physically assaulted Ms. Williams at or near the WBLS studio. In one instance, Mr. Hunter stormed into the studio, demanded that other employees leave and openly physically abused Ms. Williams, pinning her against the wall with his hand around her neck, choking her while repeatedly pounding his fist into the wall directly by her
head.”

We know there are always two sides to a story, and Wendy and Hunter deny the allegations (big surprise) Wendy had this to say “Her allegations are totally false. This bitch is out of her mind.”… But for some reason I don’t think the bitch is out of her mind, Spense’s account of the abuse is pretty damn specific. Her motivation is most likely purely financial, but I there is definitely some truth to this story.

I have listened to her radio show for a couple of months, due to the same reason I had listened to Howard Stern. One cannot make comments on something they know nothing about.
My comments are: She is not someone I would associate with, I felt she was quite crude and very contradictory during her advice hour. Numerous times she would ask questions over again that the person just stated the answer to 30 seconds prior. Over and over I heard mistakes on whether it was a boyfriend, girlfriend, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, sister or brother. Was she listening? Repeately hearing her be offensive to young black women, regarding having many babies with different men. Why has no one ever called her on that. How offensive to these women. Many times telling young people, who seemed troubled to start with, to forget their families or single mothers that no one will ever want them again. How cruel, and who is she, how does she know what the future of these people’s lives are. I questioned why these people would call her for advice anyway, she is not a therapist/psychologist, but more important her advice is usually ignornant/foolish and with lack of knowledge. For those of you out there that feel the need to call and air your dirty laundry to WW, rethink, and go to someone that truly loves you.
As far as if she is an abused women, if it is true, I do hope she finds the strength to leave.
And hopefully the format will be changed and her advice hour will be left to those who have some common sense.
