JT and his main squeeze Jessica Biel were spotted hand and hand walking her pup. How cute…except as I take a closer look at Jessica, I’m now thinking…not so much. What the heck is up with her hair? Is she trying to rock a faux mullet, or does she just have hat hair. Whatever it is, it ain’t working.

And check out the Stefani-Rossdale clan. Little Kingston is getting so big. Maybe he seems so big because this is one of the few times he’s not being carried around. But, I guess I would caring my kid around until he was 14 if I had paparazzi stalking me. And can I just say this little boy has to be the best dressed toddler in Hollywood. Too cute.

On June 27 a concert will be held in London’s Hyde park in celebration of Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday, and in support of his 46664 charity. The number 46664, was Mandela’s prison number during his 27 year incarceration during South Africa’s apartheid. His 46664 charity works to provide education, and funds to help fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa. The event will be hosted by Will Smith, and include performance and apperances by Oprah Winfrey, Queen, Annie Lennox, Amy Winehouse, and many others. Concert will be aired June 30th on VH1.

Dr. Jan Adams, who most of us know as the plastic surgeon that operated on Donda West, Kanye West’s mother was arrested on a DUI charge in California. The California highway patrol stated that around 2:41am several drivers reported a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate 680… aka he was driving on the wrong side of the road. This is Adams 2nd DUI charge and his medical license was suspended due to the first.

You know, I’m not one to force religion on anyone, but I think it’s safe to say this guy needs Jesus, or Buddha, maybe even Yahweh. Somebody take the wheel.

The show opened with a disappointing performance from Usher. It has been a while since he’s performed, and it showed. Not only did he decide to lip sync, he really wasn’t hitting is dance moves, he was out of breath, and sweating like Whitney Houston on crack. Maybe the ball and chain was attached. The whole performance just had me yearning for Chris Brown.

…my girl wasn’t any better. Her vocals were way off and she looked like a pez despenser on that pedestal. It was just an all round mess.

So as you can see the night got off to a rocky start. Thank goodness Alicia Keys was there to save the day.

Alicia’s show stopping performance which played homage to girl groups, featured guest performances by SWV, En Vogue, and TLC. I mean what more could you ask for?

The singer, who was hospitalized for a week, has been released. Her father revealed that the singer was diagnosed with having emphysema. Amy’s rep however, denies that the singer has emphysema. He says she has a ”scarring of the lungs” which could lead to emphysema”. Whatever the case, Amy does not seem ready to make a change. She was photographed smoking a cigarette after leaving the hospital. That just goes to show you, addiction is a muther f%cka. Much respect to those survivors out there who had the strength to kick a habit.

Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with Emphysema .

The talented yet trouble singer, has reached a crossroad. Her father Mitch , revealed the news to the ‘Daily Mail’ in an interview that Amy has Emphysema .

“She’s covered in nicotine patches. The only thing that can go into her lungs are fresh air. She faces a stark choice - either she sticks to it or she won’t sing again.”

Mitch believes his daughter wants to fight, he had this to say:

“She’s eating like a horse - she’s 16 pounds heavier than the last time she was in hospital. She understands she has to change. All she wants to do now is to sing, To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it.”

Talk about tough love, but anyone who has experience dealing with an addict knows, that sometimes that’s the only love you can give them. Only they can turn their life around. I really wish the best for her, Emphysema is a very serious illness that can be fatal. To read more about Amy’s battle click here.

George Carlin dies over the weekend

In other Celebrity news, iconic comedian George Carlin passed away over the weekend. Carlin was 71 years old, and died in a Santa Monica Hospital. After being admitted yesterday after complaining of chest pains, he died later that day of heart failure. Carlin was know in the comedy world for his brazen and often controversial comedic performances. I was about 14 years old when I saw his first comedy special on HBO. I was definitely intrigued by the vulgarity of his words, and his in your face delivery, but that’s not why I kept watching. I kept watching because he was absolutely hilarious, and more importantly he made me think. That’s truly a sign of a good comedian. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It appears that Ms. “smack a bitch up” Campbell is losing more than her mind, she’s losing her hair. This photo was taking of the super model as she left a New York restaurant. I wonder, if this is a case of one too many bad weaves, or has she decided that rather than attacking assistants, and security guards she’ll just beat the shit out of herself. It may not be the best look, but at least you can’t go to jail for kicking your own ass.

The Queen of Mean, Leona Helmsley’s privileged pooch, Trouble may find herself at the pound. According to the NY Post, a judge damn near ripped the silver bone out of the 9 year old maltese’s mouth! The paper reports Trouble lost $10 million of her $12 million trust fund to charity after a judge signed off on a deal that gives the Helmsley’s disinherited grandchildren (o shall I say grand-man and woman…they’re like 40 and 37) $6 million. This really sucks doggy balls for Trouble whose living in Florida with some guy named Carl (who btw says 2 million should be enough for him her). Honestly I can see where this is going….I imagine a year from now Trouble will be in some pound matted and sweaterless……..Uh hold on I think Trouble’s trying to tell me something….

Shante Broadus aka Boss Lady (wife of rapper Snoop Dogg) was arrested this weekend for a DUI.  According to Police the 32 year old was arrested around 12:15 am, she was cited and then released.  I don’t mean to make light of a DUI, but celebs get them like teens get pimples….speaking of which and getting to the real problem… what’s up with ‘tae’s mug (shot)?  All I can say is move over Diddy, Lindsay Lohan and Angela Bower…here comes Boss Lady, it’s only a matter of time before Proactiv is knocking down Mrs. Broadus’ doggy door trying to get her to be their new spokesmodel.  And from the looks of her freckles/liver spots Proactiv may not be a bad idea.
