Clay Aiken has done what I thought he’d never do, the season two American Idol alum has come clean about being a gay man. Raise your hand, if you had to pick your jaw up off the floor after seeing this cover (raising my hand). After years of being outed by the public, Clay has exited the closet via People magazine. He is featured on the cover with his baby boy.
Here is a sneak peek of the interview.

His reason for coming out:
“It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn’t raised that way, and I’m not going to raise a child to do that.” (I can totally respect that)

What his fans will think:
“Whether it be having a child out of wedlock, or whether it be simply being a homosexual(what is this 1982, who says homosexual these days) it’s going to be a lot. I’ve never intended to lie to anybody at all. … But if they leave, I don’t want them to leave hating me.”

Coming out to his mother:
“It was dark. I was sitting there, thinking to myself. I don’t know why I started thinking about it … I just started bawling. She made me pull over the car and it just came out. She started crying. She was obviously somewhat stunned.(Has she met you?) But she was very supportive and very comforting. She still struggles with things quite a bit, but she’s come a long way.”

On his sons sexuality:
“I have no idea if he’ll be gay or straight. It’s not something I’ll have anything to do with, or that he’ll have anything to do with. It’s already probably up inside the code there … No matter what the situation you’re in, if you’re raised in a loving environment, that’s the most important thing.”

Kudos to Clay for coming out on his own terms. I think he will find that the more honest you are about yourself; the less people will have to say about you. Of course there is always his music we can make fun of, which makes it a win win situation.

All kinds of Christians are getting mad about my Sarah Palin comments, and it is pissing me off.
First of all – you f%cking fake Christians - don’t f%cking question my Christianity. I grew up in the church. My grandfather was a minister, who is with God now and talks to me in my dreams from God’s corner office. I am a former Sunday school teacher. I taught the Bible to children and showed them how to love God and invite him into their hearts. I believe in God – but I don’t fear him. God is my best friend. God is my ally. God is my boyfriend. God is my best fag. I am God’s fag hag cuz didn’t you know, God is a big fag. Serious bottom too. Butch in the streets, femme in the sheets. That is my God. God is my biggest fan. God gets me, dude.
God wants us all to just get along. He doesn’t give a sh!t about the profanity. The bitch f%cking invented profanity. He thinks it is hilarious. He just wants you to talk to him, and he doesn’t care what you have to say. He just wants to keep the conversation going. Like Jay-Z, he just wants to love you. He just wants you to be able to make your own decisions. God is all about you and what you need. God is happy that you are gay. God made you f%cking gay cuz he thinks it is awesome. God understands if you need to have an abortion. That is why he created abortion, on the 8th day. God accepts. God forgives. God loves all of us, even though some of us might have a problem with each other.
Don’t f%cking question my Christianity you f%cking idiot @ssholes. If you continue to have a problem, then talk to God about it, not me, you f%cking racist homophobic misogynist fake Christian sh!theads. God thinks it is funny that I swear so much. He said I could use his name in vain or whatever. He just wants me to use it. He loves me. So f%ck you. And I guess he loves you too. Even though you are fake Christian @ssholes. If you were truly Christians, you would let gays get married, and send them f%cking presents from Bed Bath and Beyond!

So if you got through all that, I think you can see that she’s simply saying don’t judge, ridicule, or try to deny the rights of others others, which if I am not mistaken is an essential part of Christianity, she just says it in her own little special way. If you dare click here to read here.

The veteran and the rookie walked the catwalk side by side for the Fashion for Relief show looking wonderfully fabulous. The charity event which was organized and hosted by Campbell, raised over $100,000 for The White Ribbon Alliance, a charity that raises awareness for maternal mortality. This is the third annual Fashion for Relief event; in 2005 money was raised to help victims from Hurricane Katrina. It’s so nice to Naomi doing things other than boxing people up with her phone, good for her!

Jennifer Hudson became engaged to David Otunga also known as “Punk” from “I Love New York 2″ on her 27Th birthday. According to People Magazine, the two have been dating for a year. Truthfully, I really don’t  know much about this guy because I refused to watch the horrendousness that was ” I Love New York”. However, I have been hearing the buzzing of people questioning his sexual preference. Who’s to say? But I will say that I wish them the best, and congrats to Ms., soon to be, Mrs. Hudson.

After 11 years of marriage Will and Jada have not lost their spark. The couple got a little frisky on the red carpet at the premiere of Jada’s new movie The Women.That alleged open relationship of theirs, must keep the magic going.

Angela and Vanessa Simmons showed up to the BMI awards rocking these very edgy looks. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t hate them, I do however hate Vanessa’s(left) hair, it looks like her and Angela got into a fist fight, and baby sis’ won. I also think Angela could have pulled her look off better if she’d left out that 10 foot necklace, and pulled her hair back off her face. All in all I don’t think these looks were a complete disaster, but they definitely could have pulled it off better. Better luck next time.

The show opened with a disappointing performance from Usher. It has been a while since he’s performed, and it showed. Not only did he decide to lip sync, he really wasn’t hitting is dance moves, he was out of breath, and sweating like Whitney Houston on crack. Maybe the ball and chain was attached. The whole performance just had me yearning for Chris Brown.

…my girl wasn’t any better. Her vocals were way off and she looked like a pez despenser on that pedestal. It was just an all round mess.

So as you can see the night got off to a rocky start. Thank goodness Alicia Keys was there to save the day.

Alicia’s show stopping performance which played homage to girl groups, featured guest performances by SWV, En Vogue, and TLC. I mean what more could you ask for?

Al Green was honored with a BET award, and tribute with performances from Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, and the one and only Maxwell. Al then showed everybody how it’s done, when he performed some of his biggest hits like ” Love and Happiness”, which had the entire audience got on it’s feet grooving like it was 1971.

The singer, who was hospitalized for a week, has been released. Her father revealed that the singer was diagnosed with having emphysema. Amy’s rep however, denies that the singer has emphysema. He says she has a ”scarring of the lungs” which could lead to emphysema”. Whatever the case, Amy does not seem ready to make a change. She was photographed smoking a cigarette after leaving the hospital. That just goes to show you, addiction is a muther f%cka. Much respect to those survivors out there who had the strength to kick a habit.

I’m all about taking risks and standing out, and the dress is fabulous. It’s the pop up bra that is just not working for me. I just don’t think Vicky could hold those secrets.

I love everything about this dress except the cut out. It doesn’t allow for any lift for her boobs. She is too young for her lady lumps to look that flat and saggy.
